Berlingo Flair XTR is new range-topper

Citroen is adding an extra range-topping trim level packed with plenty of appealing features to top its new Berlingo passenger car line-up.

Due to the demand for the Flair trim level and the uptake of certain options, such as the innovative Modutop Roof, the French brand has seen a clear opportunity to offer a new range-topping model that fully reflects the virtues of this multi-award winning MPV.

New Berlingo Flair XTR will be available as 5-seat M size and 7-seat XL versions. Production will begin next month and prices start from £23,630 and £25,330 respectively.

New Citroën Berlingo is a modern and robust leisure activity vehicle, which continues to be a favourite amongst families with active and varied lifestyles.

Since the launch last year, more than 60 per cent of customer orders have been for the range-topping Flair level trim.

The new edition – Flair XTR – an exclusive new trim level for the UK, will top the New Berlingo range and showcase the wide range of equipment available. The new model will remain user-friendly and family-oriented with class-leading space, practicality and design.

Flair XTR versions offer the same outstanding modularity as the original Feel and Flair trims, including up to 28 ingenious interior storage spaces, boot capacity of up to 775-litres for the M size and 1,050 for the XL. In addition, the Flair XTR trim will now boast the following features, as standard equipment: Modutop Roof – a panoramic glass roof that floods the passenger compartment with light and includes an electric interior blind. It also features a floating translucent arch with background lighting, extra storage spaces and a special storage compartment at the rear that is accessible from the second row and the boot (M size only). The car will have an opening rear tailgate window – allowing easy access to the rear storage in the Modutop Roof storage and the boot. The parcel shelf can support up to 25kg. In addition, it will feature the Magic Flat Function – three individual seats with independent controls mounted in the side of the boot facia that allow customers to create a flat floor for easy loading. (M size only).

With the same modern and refined styling cues as the rest of the New Berlingo range, Flair XTR versions offer a wide range of personalisation options. The new model is available in eight body colours (Soft Sand, Aqua Green, Cumulus Grey, Platinum Grey, Onyx Black, Deep Blue, Passion Red, Polar White).
