A Swift move from Suzuki
February 26, 2014
Suzuki is unleashing a special edition of its Swift SZ-L supermini this weekend – with a limited production run of just 500 cars.
Although the SZ-L is based on the 1.2-litre SZ3 model, it boasts a host of extra kit in addition to the seven airbags, ESP, air-con, USB port and Bluetooth already provided.
For the L version sees the addition of LED daytime running lights and cruise control from the recently updated Swift SZ4, along with exclusive kit such as two-tone paintwork in either Cosmic Black or Boost Blue body colours with contrasting Cool White roof, rear spoiler and door mirrors.
Silver stitching has been added to the steering wheel, gear gaiter and seats, which also have a unique fabric design.
The Swift SZ-L is powered by the brand’s 1.2-litre 94PS petrol engine – one of the most powerful in its class – but offers combined fuel efficiency of 56.6mpg and carbon emissions of 116g/km, which results in £30 in annual road tax.
The new model is available on the recently extended VAT free promotion until the March 31 at £10,899 for three-door models and £11,316 for the five-door.
