Free accessories on the new VW Amarok
June 8, 2019
Pick-up truck sales in the UK have surged by 5.7 per cent in the last 12 months and to celebrate this trend Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is offering customers free accessories worth up to £1,666 when they buy an Amarok.

So far in 2019, the UK market has registered 19,603 pick-up trucks compared to 18,547 in the same period last year, with the Volkswagen Amarok – popular among landscape gardeners and builders – playing its part.
To mark the record figures, buyers purchasing an Amarok before the end of June can choose from products including load bay liners, protective seat covers, alloy wheels and lifestyle accessories for outdoor equipment on the pick-up truck.
Alternatively, customers can opt for a Contract Hire package with the Volkswagen Amarok Trendline 3.0 V6 TDI 204PS available from £315 a month plus an initial rental contribution of £2,000 from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
James Douglas, Head of Sales Operations at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, said: “The pick-up truck market has soared over the past year, and we know how popular the Amarok is with buyers. For anyone thinking about buying, now is the time with a raft of accessories offered free of charge. These include visual enhancements like alloy wheels, practical additions like load bay covers, or outdoor lifestyle accessories.”
As an alternative to the above offers, existing customers can choose a £500 loyalty discount. The loyalty scheme is available to all existing customers of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (regardless of model and age), as well as their family members or those living at the same address. Vehicles must be ordered and delivered before the end of June 2019 (at participating Van Centres, see www.volkswagen-vans.co.uk for full details of eligibility and T&Cs).
