Karoq Scout is ready for off-road duties
August 2, 2018
Skoda is expanding the Karoq series by introducing a more rugged Scout variant which will be unveiled at this year’s Paris Motor Show in October. And as with all Skoda Scout models, the Karoq Scout comes with four-wheel drive as standard and it sports a powerful off-road look.

With its chrome and silver-coloured bodywork elements, striking wheel arch linings and anthracite 19-inch alloy wheels, the Karoq Scout boasts a robust appearance. Tinted windows and Scout logos on the front mudguards round off the powerful appearance.
Move inside and the interior is also impressive. The seats feature newly designed covers with black-brown contrasting seams and all seats are embroidered with Scout lettering. The multifunction leather steering wheel, pedals with stainless steel elements and an LED package that includes ambient lighting complete the extensive range of standard equipment.
Drivers can individually configure the Karoq Scout’s Virtual Cockpit according to their needs and the driving mode selection offers an off-road setting.
In true Skoda tradition there are plenty of Simply Clever features, including the electric boot which opens and closes at the push of a button or by pulling gently on the open lid. There is also a virtual pedal under the rear bumper allowing the boot to be opened with a simple kicking motion.
There are three efficient and environmentally friendly engines for the Karoq Scout. In addition to a 1.5 TSI petrol engine with 110kW (150PS) in combination with a 7-speed DSG, two diesel engines are also available. There is a 2.0 TDI with 110kW (150PS) which comes with a manual 6-speed gearbox as standard (a 7-speed DSG is available as an option). In the most powerful Karoq Scout, the 2.0 TDI delivers 140kW (190PS) and is coupled with a 7-speed DSG as standard.
