December 12, 2017
Mercedes-Benz has announced that its new CLS coupe which goes on sale next year will be priced from £57,510.

That will be the asking price for the CLS 350d 4MATIC AMG Line, while the CLS 400d 4MATIC AMG Line is priced from £60,410, with the petrol-powered CLS 450 4MATIC AMG Line available from £57,610.
Both the 350d and 400d models come with a new in-line six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 286bhp in the 350d and 340bhp in the 400d. And that translates into a 0 to 62mph sprint time of 5.7 seconds for the 350d and 5.0 seconds for the 400d.
Both cars have a top speed that is electronically-limited to 155mph and Mercedes claims the 350d can achieve 48.7mpg and emits 156g/km of CO2. The 400d delivers 47.9mpg with emissions of 156g/km.
The range-topping 450 version uses a new 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder biturbo 367bhp petrol engine and from standstill it can reach 62mph in 4.8 seconds and also has a top speed of 155mph. It has a combined mpg of 36.2 with 184g/km carbon emissions.
AMG Line is the only trim level available in the UK and comes with standard equipment including 19-inch alloy wheels, 12.3-inch infotainment screen with Audio 20 multimedia screen, 12.3-inch cockpit display, a parking package, including reversing camera, leather upholstery, split folding rear seats, agility control suspension and DAB radio.
The Premium Plus equipment line is available for an additional £3,895, and includes keyless go comfort package, memory package, including electrically-adjustable front seats and steering wheel, Burmester surround system, 360-degree camera, the Mercedes Comand Online infotainment system and an electric sliding sunroof.
There is the option of a driving assistance plus package costing £1,695 which introduces the latest in driving assistance technology and the system features route-based speed adaptation – meaning the vehicle can detect upcoming junctions and roundabouts and adjust its speed accordingly.
