Motorpoint looks out for dog safety
June 2, 2023
Dog-friendly car retailer Motorpoint has made in-car canine safety one of its pet projects as part of its new 2023 partnership with the nation’s favourite festival for dogs and their owners, DogFest.

The UK’s largest independent retailer of nearly new cars and vans, Motorpoint is the official auto brand partner DogFest and will be at all seven events taking place at some of the most stunning stately homes across the country.
The partnership kicked off recently at Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire, where thousands of people and their dogs visited Motorpoint’s unique experiential space to enjoy a wide range of fun activities and competitions.
Tess Drew, Festival Director at DogFest said: “After the success of last year’s Motorpoint’s involvement we are absolutely thrilled to have Motorpoint aboard as our official auto sponsor for DogFest 2023. It’s great to have their support and their genuine enthusiasm for all things dogs makes them the pawfect partner.”
Despite all the fun, there was a serious underlying message, with Motorpoint providing owners with top tips on how to keep their furry friends safe and comfortable whilst travelling in a vehicle.
DogFest visitors will be able to enjoy the full experience Motorpoint experience at venues across England until September. Events have or are taking place are at Ashton Court, Bristol (2-3 September), Knebworth House, Hertfordshire (9-10 September) and Harewood House, Yorkshire (23-24 September).
Jennie Sim, Sponsorship, Partnership and Charity Manager at Motorpoint, said: “Motorpoint stores are very definitely dog-friendly – wherever possible we have Pooch Pitstops where people’s pets can enjoy a drink and treat on us.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be partners of DogFest and cannot wait to share our summer with lovely people and their pets at venues across the country.”
Motorpoint’s nationwide stock of nearly new cars includes hundreds of examples of the most popular cars for dog owners and can be searched here.
