New ADAM really ROCKS

August 20, 2014

Just 18 months after its launch Vauxhall’s snazzy urban-chic city car the ADAM has racked up 100,000 European orders with major sales coming from the UK, Holland, France, Italy and Germany.
The ADAM has more than a million different specification and trim combinations, meaning every customer has the chance to create a unique car. And the latest edition to the family, the ADAM ROCKS AIR is set to become the first urban mini three-door crossover when it goes on sale next month.
The new addition has its own body styling offering the same design as the original ADAM but with crossover toughness plus a full-length folding canvas roof.
Also available across the ADAM range is Vauxhall’s new 1.0-litre ECOTEC direct injection Turbo three-cylinder engine boasting 115PS and impressive low-end torque of 170Nm.
Vauxhall chief Tim Tozer said: “Thanks to its striking design and over a million different spec combinations, ADAM has been a big hit with our customers.
“And if that wasn’t enough, Vauxhall is adding the robust ROCKS AIR to the ADAM range featuring an all-new 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine.”
ADAM prices start at £11,455 for the 1.2-litre petrol Jam model.
