Prepare for Toyota’s hot hatch Yaris
March 7, 2020
A hot version of the Toyota Yaris will be arriving later this year priced from just under £30,000.

The blisteringly quick car, called the GT Yaris, has been developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing in partnership with Tommi Makinen Racing – Toyota’s partner in its title-winning World Rally Championship campaign.
The GR Yaris is a bespoke model with its own chassis and is powered by a new 257bhp 1.6-litre three-cylinder turbocharged engine, which is expected to deliver a 0-62mph sprint time of less than 5.5 seconds.
The hot hatch will be priced from £29,995 or £33,495 for models fitted with a circuit pack.
Toyota says the car has the handling ability and driving dynamics expected from such a model and it is fitted with a GR-Four intelligent all-wheel drive system.
In addition, it is a precursor of a future Toyota World Rally Championship competition car.
