Prices announced for Hyundai Santa Fe

July 4, 2018

Hyundai has announced the pricing and specifications of the latest Santa Fe and of the diesel versions of the Kona. The Santa Fe is the Korean company’s flagship SUV and prices will start from at £33,425 when it hits showrooms at the beginning of September.

The new look car boasts fresh exterior and interior styling as well as introducing a wealth of new equipment, safety and powertrain features over the outgoing model.

There is an upgraded version of the company’s 2.2 CRDi R engine which will be available with front wheel drive or 4WD drivetrains, with either a six-speed manual or an all-new eight-speed automatic transmission.

Four-wheel-drive models introduce HTRAC which is an evolution of Hyundai’s Torque on Demand 4WD system. This allows the driver manual control over torque distribution.

All Santa Fe models feature seven seats, roof rails, privacy glass, dual zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors with rear view camera, heated front seats, drivers’ seat height adjustment, leather steering wheel, automatic windscreen wipers, DAB radio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking and smart high beam assist.

The Kona 1.6 CRDi, which is available to order now, will be priced from £19,750 and comes with a newly developed 1.6 litre engine with a state-of-the-art exhaust gas purification system.

The newcomer is available with a 115PS version of the engine with six-speed manual transmission or a 136PS version mated to a seven-speed dual clutch auto transmission.

Other specifications will be much the same as those already available in petrol versions of the Kona with a choice of three trim levels.
