Renault reveals Kadjar prices
June 12, 2015
RENAULT has revealed that its all-new Kadjar crossover model will cost from £17,995 when it hits UK roads this autumn.
The model which is being billed as a big brother for the highly successful Renault Captur, was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.
The Kadjar is being offered in an 18-version line-up of 4×2 and 4×4 models with four trim lines familiar to Renault owners – Expression+, Dynamique Nav, Dynamique S Nav and Signature Nav.
All models boast a comprehensive standard spec with connectivity via the company’s R-Link 2 system fitted to all models above the entry grade.
Three engines are on offer – a 1.2-litre turbocharged TCe 130bhp direct-injection petrol unit, a 1.5-litre ENERGY dCi 110bhp diesel and the 1.6-litre ENERGY dCi 130bhp diesel.
An Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) automatic gearbox is available with the dCi 110 engine while intelligent four-wheel drive with three operating modes – Auto, LOCK and 2WD – offered with the dCi 130 in the three upper trim levels.
The three engines, two gearboxes and two drive systems will deliver fuel economy of up to 74.3mpg with CO2 emissions as low as 99g/km.
There are two different boot configurations allowing owners to choose between a high position with a completely flat floor for loading large items or a low position to provide the maximum carrying capacity.
Head and elbow room in the rear is claimed to be among the best in class while there is also 30 litres of stowage space in the cabin.
The car is priced from £17,995 for the Kadjar Expression + TCe 130 model rising to £26,295 for the Kadjar Signature Nav dCi 130 4WD variant.
The order book opens next month with first deliveries expected in September.
