Toyota goes flat out for success
December 11, 2015
Toyota has recognised the importance of being prepared and plans to fit its latest Yaris hatchback models with spacesaver tyres as standard instead of a repair kit.
In addition, the Yaris line-up is being spruced up and there is a new highly-specced Design model, priced from £14,995, which will replace the current Sport version.
Yaris Design models are available with petrol, diesel and hybrid power systems and feature LED daytime running and rear lights, 16-inch alloys wheels, a reversing camera, cruise control, DAB radios and Toyota’s Touch 2 multimedia system. There is also a new black ‘wrap round’ roof design as a £795 option.
Other revisions to the line-up see the top specification Yaris Excel become available only as a 1.5-litre hybrid costing from £17,795.
As well as fitting all cars with a spare wheel there are also interior upgrades including new upholstery.
Prices across the range are due to increase by about £500 with the entry level Yaris Active now starting from £11,495.
