SsangYong Musso has best load limits
June 7, 2020
SsangYong has added a long wheelbase variant to its award-winning Musso line-up making it the pick-up truck with the greatest load capacity currently on sale in the UK.

The load bed has been extended by 300mm and that means the Musso Rhino now has a total load capacity of 4.64 tonnes. This limit includes a 3.5 tonne towing limit and an onboard capacity of 1.14 tonnes.
The new Rhino heads up a revised Musso line-up and is available only with a six-speed automatic transmission, priced from £29,995 (excluding VAT).
When it comes top performance, it can complete the 0-60mph dash in 11.9 seconds and offers a best fuel return of 29.4mpg. Carbon emissions, under the old NEDC calculations, are rated at 216g/km.
Manual gearboxes are available in other variants and all are powered by a 2.3-litre diesel engine that SsangYong also uses to power the popular Rexton SUV.
Customers opting for the manual versions get a slightly faster vehicle with the 0-60mph time down to 11.3 seconds, but the total payload capacity is reduced to 4.3 tonnes.
The Musso line-up is priced from £21,995 for an entry level SE model which is manual only with mid-range Rebel and Saracen models priced from £24,496 and £26,996 respectively. Auto versions cost £1,250 more.
All Mussos are four-wheel-drive and come with an excellent seven year/150,000 mile warranty.
