WWCOTY survey looks at driving traits
May 15, 2026
Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year has launched a survey to discover exactly how women feel behind the wheel of their vehicle.

In a bid to discover more about driving traits in general, the simple survey has been compiled by Sabina Kvášová, a WWCOTY juror in the Czech Republic, and editor-in-chief of the magazine Zena v aute.cz.
The aim of the survey Female Drivers’ Perceptions of Safety on the roads is to analyse the behaviour of women drivers and their perspective in different countries. “It is important to really know what women go through when they drive. This research will allow us to get a closer look at situations that sometimes go unnoticed,” said Marta Garcia, Executive President of WWCOTY.
It covers subjects such as: Do women drive safely? What is the trigger that causes stress behind the wheel? Does their behaviour vary from country to country?
The survey takes just a couple of minutes to complete and is open to anyone to fill in.
Sabina Kvášová said: “Through a questionnaire we want to analyse how women drivers feel and what distracts them from focusing 100 per cent on the road. Thanks to the connection to the Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year association, we also want to compare the results of surveys in foreign countries.”
The survey is open until the end of May by linking here and the results will be published on June 24 to coincide with International Women Drivers’ Day.
