Extended range for Nissan LEAF
April 12, 2013
The New Nissan LEAF has an extended range, quicker charging and comes for the first time with the option to lease the battery.
In fact, there are more than 100 improvements – many of which have been suggested in customer feedback.
Cars bought with leased batteries will be known as Flex models and will be priced from £15,990 after the Government’s £5k plug-in grant. And lease charges range from £70 per month depending on mileage and the length of the contract.
The vehicle’s range has been extended from 109 to 124 miles thanks to a number of modifications and the charging time has been reduced by 50 per cent compared to the first generation LEAF.
