It’s Dacia’s upmarket estate car

May 2, 2017

Dacia has announced pricing and specification details for its new ultra-upmarket Logan MCV Stepway car which was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.

The all-new version of the budget-priced estate car follows in the footsteps of the new Sandero Stepway crossover and is the fifth member of the Dacia UK range.

Dacia says that the new Stepway – based on the recently revised new Logan MCV – has a sporty, muscular stance with flared wheel arches, roof rails and a ground clearance of 174mm.

The Logan MCV Stepway is available in Laureate trim which includes a high specification as standard. At the front, the car boasts a two-tone bumper as well as a satin-effect chrome skid plate, along with fog lights. It also incorporates Dacia’s new lighting signature with headlights that now include LED daytime running lights in the form of four stacked rectangles.

Other styling cues include dark metal door mirror housings and Stepway decals on the front doors, along with dark metal roof bars and, at the rear, there is a two-tone rear bumper with satin-effect chrome skid plate, plus tail lights that are bordered with black metal.

It has a boot capacity of 573 litres which is one of the largest in the segment.

The new Logan MCV Stepway is available with a choice of two engines. There is the TCe 90 petrol version with carbon emissions of 115g/km and fuel economy of 55.4mpg or the dCi 90 diesel with a CO2 figure of 100g/km and fuel economy of up to 72.4mpg. Both come with a five-speed manual gearbox.

The vehicle is priced from £11,495 with first customer deliveries expected in June.
