SEAT launches a new Black Edition trim
April 3, 2025
Order books for the SEAT Black Editions have opened with drivers offered the chance to get their hands on the latest model updates.

For those wanting a more distinctive look, the Black Editions will be available on the FR variants of the Ibiza, Arona, Leon, and Ateca.
First revealed in November 2024, SEAT announced a new look to its line-up with the introduction of the FR Black Editions across its whole SEAT range. The Black Edition represents a strengthening of the exterior and interior designs, delivering an even more streamlined and sophisticated look to the models. Additions include alloy wheels, a black roof spoiler, side skirts, and keyless entry.
The SEAT Arona FR Black Edition comes with black side skirts and roof rails to complement the tone, as well as exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels painted in black. Subtle additions such as the “Black Edition” identification embossed into the B-pillar references the urban-SUV’s status. Inside, the FR Black Edition model gains standard textile bucket seats, keyless entry and go, adaptive cruise control, park assist, and a rear-view camera. The vehicle’s exterior character is brought into the cabin with dark aluminium matt colouring used in the dashboard, console, and door mouldings. The Arona is available from £28,805.
SEAT’s bestselling Ibiza is also open for order with FR Black Edition treatment, adding a range of exterior and interior tweaks to emphasise its character. The 18-inch black alloy wheels work with the black roof spoiler and side skirts to highlight its sporty character. Inside, there is keyless entry, a panoramic sunroof, Dinamica sports bucket seats and, for the first time ever on SEAT Ibiza, heated seats. The Ibiza is available from £24,935.
The SEAT Leon FR joins the Black Edition family with black alloys, roof spoiler, and side skirts, complementing the distinctive design. It also includes black mirror housings, a panoramic roof, and keyless entry. The Leon is available from £33,150.
The SEAT Ateca FR Black Edition is the largest Black Edition model to be introduced. With its new sporty 19-inch black alloys, electric tailgate, and top-view camera, the Ateca FR Black Edition is an excellent addition to the new range and is available from £36,890.
Marcus Gossen, Managing Director of SEAT and CUPRA UK, said: “The new FR Black Edition across the SEAT range is a fantastic addition to our current line-up, and we’re thrilled to open order books in the UK. We’re focused on continuously improving our offerings to customers nationwide, and we believe the FR Black Editions provide a compelling upgrade to the existing FR models. We’re committed to driving the growth of the SEAT brand, and the introduction of the FR Black Editions is a significant step in that direction.”
