Infiniti, the first car manufacturer in Europe to introduce a 360 degree parking display, has done it again by adding Moving Object Detection to its Around View Monitor system.
The technology which is currently undergoing final testing in Japan uses both the dashboard’s central screen display and a loud chime to notify the driver of objects moving around the car during parking.
Around View Monitor works using four cameras – one in the front grille, another above the rear number plate and one more under each door mirror.
The additional feature will be introduced within the next year or two depending on market.
