Skoda adds Design trim to Kamiq range
January 4, 2025
Škoda is building on the success of its award-winning Kamiq range by adding a new trim level to the line-up. The new Kamiq Design Edition introduces striking looks and a feature-packed specification with order books opening on January 16.

The new trim grade, which has proved a popular choice in the recently updated Fabia range, is positioned between the existing SE Edition and SE L Edition models and takes the total number of trim options for Kamiq up to four. Created to appeal to design-conscious customers, the specification of the new Design Edition has been carefully curated to deliver a striking look while maximising value for money.
Building on the generous specification of the Kamiq SE Edition, the new Design Edition is equipped with 17-inch Propus aero alloy wheels, black roof and door mirrors and privacy glass as standard. Inside, the Design Edition features sports seats, cloth and microsuede upholstery, a three-spoke sports steering wheel and red trim on the dashboard. Ambient lighting, black headlining and aluminium pedals complete the interior specification.
The new Kamiq Design Edition is available with two engines and three drivetrain options. The 1.0 TSI 95PS and 1.0 TSI 116PS engines feature a manual gearbox as standard with the higher output unit also available with a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox. WLTP combined CO2outputs range from 122g/km for the 1.0 TSI 116PS manual to 126g/km for the 1.0 TSI 116PS DSG.
In terms of efficiency, the 1.0 TSI 95PS model returns 51.9mpg on the WLTP combined cycle while the 1.0 TSI 116PS manual has an official consumption figure of 52.3mpg. The range-topping 1.0 TSI 116PS DSG returns a combined 50.6mpg.
Despite its generous specification, the new Kamiq Design Edition still represents exceptional value for money. Prices start from just £25,855 OTR for the 1.0 TSI 95PS model, rising to £28,185 OTR for the 1.0 TSI 116PS DSG model. Order books for the new model open on January 16 with first deliveries expected in spring.
