Motorpoint to the rescue… oh yes they are!

December 21, 2015

Pantomime legend Christopher Biggins is making a grand entrance on stage at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham – all thanks to Motorpoint. The former King of the Jungle on ITV’s ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here’, is currently playing the part of Widow Twanky in Aladdin, and was keen to arrive in style on stage at the start of the show which runs until January 10.

Biggins

Motorpoint came to his aid with help from Co-Wheels, the UK’s only independently-owned national car club specialising in low emission hybrid and electric cars, in the form of a Renault Twizy, a futuristic looking compact electric car that Biggins uses to tread the boards at the theatre.

Satvir Atwal, General Manager of Motorpoint Derby and self-confessed panto fan, said: “We’re so glad that, with the help of Co-Wheels, we were able to source a suitable vehicle for Biggins to use. The Renault Twizy is ideal for Widow Twanky to whizz around the Theatre Royal. It fits the bill perfectly and we can’t wait to see it in action when we go to watch Aladdin in Nottingham.”
