Suzuki is launching a special edition of its Jimny model with a production run limited to just 200 models for the UK. Called the Jimny Adventure, it is based on the top specification SZ4 version of the hardy little SUV and comes with 15-inch alloys, air conditioning and privacy glass as well as imitation leather upholstery.

Extras fitted for the special version include a two-tone paint job and a toughened spare wheel cover with its own Japanese Adventure logo, plus sat nav with Bluetooth.

The car is priced from £14,949 which is £1,000 more than the SZ4, and like other Jimny models it is powered by a 1.3-litre petrol engine which can achieve 39.8mpg with carbon emissions of 162g/km while still being a highly capable off-roader.
