SsangYong’s Korando crossover line-up is growing with the introduction of a stylish new LE version. The latest arrival is powered by a fresh powertrain featuring a 2.2-litre diesel Euro 6 engine and comes with two-wheel drive with either a six-speed manual or an Aisin six-speed automatic transmission.

The newly developed e-XDi220 diesel engine has maximum power of 178bhp and maximum torque of 400Nm and will certainly appeal to those who need towing capability. According to the South Korean manufacturer, combined fuel economy is 53.3mpg and carbon emissions are claimed at 139g/km.
The new LE model has been designed by the Italian styling house Giugiaro and boasts a piano black radiator grille, clear glass direction indicators and distinctive 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and sidesteps.
It also features a seven-inch high-resolution touchscreen with audio streaming from smart devices and a link to the rear view camera, as well as a TomTom navigation system.
Other creature comforts include heated front seats, automatic air conditioning, privacy glass, rear spoiler with high-mounted LED brake light and rear parking sensors.
The six-speed manual version is priced at £17,995 and the automatic costs £18,995.
