Hyundai announces all-new Kona pricing

October 20, 2017

Hyundai’s all-new SUV – the Kona – will cost from £16,195 when it goes on sale from the start of November.

There are five trim levels – S, SE, Premium, Premium SE and Premium GT — and the range of 1.0 and 1.6-litre pertrol engines are all turbocharged. The £16,195 price-tag is for the Kona S 1.0 T-GDi 120PS six-speed manual model.

The Kona Hyundai’s first model to feature a high-end KRELL audio system, along with creature comforts including an eight-inch touchscreen centre console display with sat-nav, LIVE services and wireless phone charging pad.

All versions boast safety equipment like Lane Keeping Assist, Driver Attention Alert, Hill Start Assist Control and Downhill Brake Control.

The company’s UK chief Tony Whitehorn said: “Hyundai has long been a pioneer in the SUV market with the Tucson and Santa Fe and all-new Kona completes a line-up that now gives customers a Hyundai choice in every segment of what is still a rapidly growing sector.”

All Kona models come with the Korean manufacturer’s five-year unlimited mileage warranty.
