SE Drive trim added to Octavia line-up
February 18, 2019
Skoda is introducing a feature-packed new trim level to its best-selling Octavia range – making it even better value. The new Octavia SE Drive builds on the already comprehensive specification of the SE model, and adds a number of key equipment upgrades.

Priced from £20,155, the SE Drive can be specified in both hatch and estate forms and comes with three engine options – two petrol and one diesel – with DSG transmission available on all three powerplants.
The SE Drive engine range starts with a 1.0 TSI petrol unit with 115PS, with a more powerful 1.5 TSI 150PS unit just above it. The diesel option is a 1.6 TDI unit with 115PS.
All SE Drive models are equipped with 17-inch Denom alloy wheels as standard, along with Amundsen navigation with integrated WiFi and textile floor mats. Despite having additional equipment that would cost more than £1,300 if specified as individual options on an SE, the SE Drive commands only a modest £550 premium over the SE.
The additional equipment that comes as standard with the SE Drive makes the newest member of the Octavia range one of the best value cars in its price bracket. Among the many technology features included as standard are acoustic rear parking sensors, cruise control, driver fatigue sensor, driving mode selection and driver personalisation (including three keys).
In terms of creature comforts, the SE Drive model comes with electrically adjustable and heated mirrors, a three-spoke leather multi-function steering wheel and dual-zone air conditioning with humidity sensor and control. And, in keeping with Skoda tradition, customers also benefit from an umbrella under the passenger seat.
The Octavia SE Drive is available to order now across the SKODA retailer network. Prices range from £20,155 for the 1.0 TSI hatch model up to £24,715 for the 1.6 TDI DSG model.
