Citroen gives My Ami Pop added appeal

November 8, 2023

Citroën has updated My Ami Pop, with a new design that enhances its playful, youthful, and sporty character.

Citroen My Ami Pop

New My Ami Pop introduces even more personality into the Ami range – a line-up that has already attracted more than 43,000 customers since its launch in 2020, with 80 per cent of buyers opting for a customised version such as My Ami Pop.

New My Ami Pop retains all the exterior styling features that make Ami so distinctive, but now with new headlamp surrounds, a black chevron strip under the windscreen and a newly reinforced black bumper. My Ami Pop also features a fresh colour scheme with the introduction of ‘Infrared’ as a predominant tone.

My Ami Pop also has new graphics and colour accents, to give it a fresher look that incorporates gaming-inspired geometric designs along with lively yellow and white accents on the stickers and wheel trims. The pattern on the doors is reminiscent of Citroën’s iconic chevrons, with circle motifs to echo the vehicles curved shapes and round headlights.

The yellow interior bag hook adds visual dynamism to the passenger compartment, which is warmed by the inviting orange hues of the three storage bins, the two opening straps, and the stitching on the floor mats.

New My Ami Pop’s controls are more visible than before and easier to use, including the more ergonomically-designed drive mode selector on the central console – this will become available on all versions of Ami in the first quarter of 2024.

Inside My Ami Pop, the driver will find useful features such as the smartphone clip, door nets, central separation net, floor mats, and the Dat@mi connectivity box – which allows the driver to link their smartphone with Ami to access their range, mileage, and maintenance data.

My Ami Pop’s infotainment system features the My Ami Play interface, which turns your smartphone into a dashboard with quick access to navigation functions, music and radio, as well as enabling the driver to make phone calls. The interface can be operated remotely using the Citroën Switch button on the steering wheel, so the driver can keep their eyes on the road for safer journeys.

New My Ami Pop is available in the UK from today, priced from £8,495. Deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2024. Prospective customers are invited to visit: www.citroen.co.uk/ami

Citroën Ami has already won over more than 43,000 customers in 12 different countries since its launch in April 2020. Recently launched in Switzerland, Réunion Island, Martinique, and Guadeloupe, Ami is still proving as popular as ever and will shortly be launched in Denmark, Slovenia, and Bulgaria.
