Skoda has just hosted its annual Retailer of the Year Awards in Prague with BBC news presenter Kate Silverton handing out the trophies.
The top three retailers were named as Sinclair Skoda in Swansea, Mitchell Skoda in Chester, and Carrs Skoda in Indian Queens, who were congratulated and thanked by Robert Hazelwood, Skoda’s UK Director.
Mr Hazelwood said: “It’s a real pleasure to have an evening where we can recognise the network and it gives our management team the chance to thank them all for their hard work throughout 2010. Our brand is growing rapidly, thanks to our great range of high-quality, affordable cars and excellent customer service and we are proud to have such fantastic retailers as part of our group.”
Globally, Skoda aims to increase its annual sales volume from 760,000 to more than 1,000,000 within the next five years. The UK will play a major role in the company’s growth and is expected to account for more than 45,000 sales this year.
