Black is back. At least it is according to MINI which has just revealed an exclusive new exterior paint finish, Frozen Black metallic, as a limited edition colour for the flagship MINI Countryman and Paceman models.
But it’s no ordinary paint, because it has a textured, shimmering matt finish and is available for the MINI Cooper S Countryman, Cooper SD Countryman, Cooper S Paceman, Cooper SD Paceman, John Cooper Works Countryman and JCW Paceman.
It is created using a complex manufacturing process including a clear lacquer finish which has added silicates to create the matted impression as well as the velvet effect which can be seen and felt.
