BMW offers glimpse at luxurious SAV

September 13, 2017

BMW chose familiar territory at the Frankfurt Motor Show to reveal its innovative new vehicle concept for the luxury class. The BMW Concept X7 iPerformance is celebrating its world premiere in Frankfurt, as the company showcases a fresh understanding of luxury within the BMW brand’s model line-up.

The exterior design of the first Sports Activity Vehicle in the luxury segment is headlined by imposing dimensions and a captivating presence.

Step inside, and the BMW Concept X7 iPerformance underscores its progressive sense of opulence with generous levels of space for six people, exquisite materials and an infotainment system brimming with intelligent connectivity.

The BMW iPerformance model’s plug-in hybrid drive system, which brings together BMW eDrive technology and a petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, lends the car outstanding dynamism and efficiency.

The concept study provides a window into a new series-production BMW for the luxury segment. The forthcoming BMW X7 will be unveiled in 2018 as part of the largest model offensive in the history of the BMW Group.

Like all the BMW X models that have gone before, this exceptionally spacious and sumptuous Sports Activity Vehicle will launch a brand new category of car – and in the process shine the spotlight once again on the company’s innovative talents and its creative flair in the development of ground-breaking vehicle concepts.
