Crank up the volume in style with Lexus RX 450h

August 29, 2014

MUSIC lovers looking for pitch perfect clarity should check out the latest model from Lexus.
For the Japanese brand has just released a new version of its luxury RX 450h model and one of the extra pieces of kit on board is a Mark Levinson premium 7.1 surround sound system as standard.
Even with the bonus of the bespoke audio package – which has a £1,000 list price – and a set of machined and shaded 19-inch alloy wheels, the price tag for the new Advance model is unchanged, matching its predecessor at £48,495.
The sound system boasts 15 speakers including a 200mm subwoofer for the most precise reproduction of vocals and instrumentals. And the package also includes a DVD player, rear-view camera and Lexus’s computer mouse-like remote touch audio and navigation control system.
Lexus Premium Navigation and Bluetooth for hands-free phone calls and audio streaming are also provided.
The asking price also includes the choice of either a sunroof or fixed panoramic roof, along with Smart Entry and Start, parking sensors, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, heated eight-way adjustable front seats and rear privacy glass.
The RX 450h is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine and powerful electric motor to produce a maximum 295bhp for 0-62mph acceleration of less than eight seconds. Combined fuel economy is 44.8mpg and carbon emissions are 145g/km.
