BMW has come up with a scheme to help motorists get the best from their vehicles all year round.
Changing tyres to suit the different seasons is already fairly commonplace in mainstream Europe and now BMW’s specialist winter tyre programme means there will be a winter wheel and tyre package available in the UK.
The winter wheels will operate far better than the summer tyres at temperatures below seven degrees centigrade.
Prices vary according to the model but start at £600 for a complete set of winter wheels and tyres on a BMW 1 or 3 Series which does not include fitting costs.
