Prices revealed for new Hyundai Bayon

Hyundai has revealed more details about the pricing and specifications of its all-new Bayon compact five-door SUV.

With prices ranging from £20,295 to £25,795, the 10-model line-up are all powered by a 1.0 turbocharged GDi engine which combines with a 48 Volt Mild Hybrid system to provide a choice of 100PS or 120PS power outputs.

Customers are offered the choice of two transmissions, an intelligent six-speed manual that features an electronically controlled clutch or a seven-speed dual clutch transmission which combines optimum fuel consumption and automatically controlled gear changes.

Bayon will be available in three specification levels, SE Connect, Premium and Ultimate and all versions are packed with safety kit, including six airbags, the automatic emergency call system eCall, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Alert, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Assist warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection as well as automatic headlamps with High Beam Assist.

Models are generously equipped with the likes of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone link-up, DAB radio, cruise control, interior mood lighting and plenty more as standard.

The Hyundai Bayon is available in nine colours, with a standard two-tone finish with Phantom Black roof on Ultimate models.
