Mercedes announces new model prices

The Mercedes-AMG A 45 S, CLA 45 S and CLA 45 S Shooting Brake are available to order now with prices starting from £50,570 for the A 45 S 4MATIC+, £52,145 for the CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ Coupé and £53,570 for the CLA 45 S Shooting Brake 4MATIC+.

The A 45 S 4MATIC+ Plus costs £56,570. The CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ Plus Coupé starts at £58,145, while the CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ Plus Shooting Brake is available from £59,570.

All models boast increased power and torque, with a rise of 34hp to 421hp and 20Nm to 500Nm. The A 45 S can travel from 0 to 62mph in just 3.9 seconds, while the CLA 45 S Coupé and CLA 45 S Shooting Brake take 4.0 seconds. Fuel economy in the hatchback is 33.6mpg (combined) with emissions from 192g/km CO2, while the CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ Coupé achieves 34mpg (combined) and CO2 emissions from 189g/km. The CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ Shooting Brake returns 33.6mpg (combined) and CO2 emissions from 191g/km.

Both the A 45 S and CLA 45 S come as standard with AMG Speedshift DCT 8G dual-clutch transmission and high-performance brakes.

And they have six AMG Dynamic Select driving modes – Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport Plus, Individual and Race. As well as controlling elements such as powertrain, transmission, exhaust and ride, AMG Dynamics is now also included.

The A 45 S 4MATIC+ and the CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ feature an extensive range of standard equipment, including 19-inch five-twin-spoke alloys, red brake callipers, AMG Suspension with AMG Ride Control, AMG-specific radiator grille with a wider lower contour and 12 vertical louvres, wider front wings with flared arches, wider AMG side skirts, two sets of round, twin tailpipes, AMG Night pack, performance seats, AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather, AMG Drive Unit with driver’s package and AMG Track Pace, heated front seats, parking package; 10.25-inch touch screen media display and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, Mercedes-Benz sound system, 64-colour ambient lighting, smartphone integration with wireless charging and augmented reality satellite navigation.

The range-topping 4MATIC+ Plus models come with additional equipment as standard such as the AMG Aerodynamic package, including modified front splitter, additional flics on the front apron, an additional diffuser blade, side spoiler lips on the rear apron and a rear spoiler.

It has Adaptive Damping suspension, a panoramic sunroof, Multibeam LED headlights with Adaptive High-beam Assist Plus, 19-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels, electrically-adjustable front memory seats, Traffic Sign Assist, a Burmester surround sound system and Blind Spot Assist.

Standard safety and assistance equipment on all models includes Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keep Assist, Attention Assist, and Speed Limit Assist.
