Added incentive for Sandero customers

February 3, 2021

The New Dacia Sandero and Sandero Stepway is now even more appealing with best-in-class residual values confirmed by industry experts CAP.

Calculated over three years and 30,000 miles, the Sandero and Sandero Stepway ranges both offer average residual values in excess of 53 per cent, proving the UK’s most affordable car makes even more sense for customers that want quality and value.

Compared with the previous Sandero, the new model boasts an increase of 7.1 percentage points in retained value on average across the range, equivalent to £1,365 additional retained value in the vehicle over three years of ownership.

The good news doesn’t end there. For Sandero Stepway customers in particular, residual values reach up to 57 per cent over three years and 30,000 miles for the TCe 90 Essential specification. Similarly, the stellar performer for the Sandero range is the SCe 65 Essential, retaining 56 per cent of its original value over the three-year, 30,000-mile period.

Analysed over a shorter term, the Sandero Stepway TCe 90 Essential has seen an uplift of 11.8 percentage points in value compared with the previous version over 12 months and 10,000 miles, highlighting how the Sandero’s proposition as a great-value car continues to go from strength to strength.

Add to that low running costs from its range of efficient engines and low insurance costs, the award-winning Sandero continues to offer good value whilst maintaining quality.

The New Dacia Sandero and Stepway is on sale now, while the first customers have been able to easily pre-order online for just £99 since the end of 2020.

As ever, Dacia has made the perfect blend of essential equipment and excellent value available to buyers. Both the Sandero and Stepway line-ups are made up of a simple range of trim levels and engines, while still giving customers greater choice than ever with a Sandero to suit all tastes and needs.

The latest version has been enhanced, with a higher-quality interior, the latest in-car technology and more space than ever without increasing the cost – it remains the UK’s most affordable new car. As always with Dacia, things have been kept simple for buyers with just two optional extras available – a spare wheel and metallic paint.

All-New Sandero customers can choose from Access, Essential and Comfort specifications with a choice of SCe 65, TCe 90 and TCe 100 Bi-Fuel powertrains – including a CVT automatic option for the first time on the TCe 90.

The ever-popular Stepway with its rugged charm and stylish, off-road look is available in Essential, Comfort and new highly specified Prestige trim levels, with the same engines: TCe 90 with manual or automatic transmission and the TCe 100 Bi-Fuel.

The enhanced specification now includes Y-shaped LED daytime running lights with LED front headlamps, Automatic Emergency Braking System, emergency E-Call system, six airbags, electric windows, mobile phone docking station and a speed limiter on all models.

In addition, Sandero Stepway customers can select a newly introduced Prestige specification. It comes complete with automatic air conditioning, an electronic handbrake, all-round parking sensors with reversing camera, blind spot warning, and 16-inch diamond-cut alloys on top of the higher specification that all new Sandero models benefit from.

The Sandero range is available from just £7,995, while the Sandero Stepway is available from £10,995. All models are on sale now.
