This is a very brief glimpse of what Mitsubishi is about to reveal as the first of a new generation of SUVs.

The sporty, coupe-like SUV is yet to be named, but will make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

It is due to line up alongside the new Mitsubishi ASX and Mitsubishi Outlander to broaden the brand’s model range and introduce a whole new audience to Mitsubishi Motors – a brand long associated with tough and capable SUVs and 4X4s. Mitsubishi claims it will mark a turning point for the Japanese manufacturer.
