Fiat and Abarth’s 500e cars gain grant

The Fiat 500e and hot Abarth 500e have just got a lot more appealing thanks to them becoming eligible for the maximum £3,750 government Electric Car Grant incentive.
That means customers who order an entry-level Fiat 500e will now pay £17,245, while the Abarth 500e comes in at £24,245.
The cute and cuddly Fiat 500e has become a status symbol for those who love style, chic and character and the latest car is now available with a choice of two battery options: a 24kWh set-up or a larger 42kWh unit. The former can travel a claimed 118 miles between charges, while the latter can manage up to 199 miles on the WLTP cycle.
Those who are keen drivers will love the Abarth 500e’s bright exterior colours, deeper bumpers, side skirts, sports suspension and chunky alloy wheels. Inside, there are body-hugging sports seats, a sports steering wheel and a carbon fibre-effect dashboard.
Powering the Abarth is a 42kWh battery pack with an electric motor that develops a total of 153bhp and can travel up to a claimed 164 miles between trips to the plug.
Both models are available in a drop-top Convertible bodystyle which features a full-length electrically folding canvas roof.
The Fiat 500e and Abarth 500e are available to order now with the Electric Car Grant savings.
